Many people suffer from Anxiety. I am one of them. I have suffered with it since my twenties. As I got older, I started having it more often. After my mother passed away when I was 24 is when it started occurring more often. Stress from work, finances, divorce and being a single parent certainly do not help. For the most part I have it under control and I don’t suffer from it every day. At times it will come in waves and I will have it several days in a row and then won’t have it for a while. Occasionally it will hit me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere, mostly at night. My chest will hurt and I feel like I cannot take a deep breath. Other times, it is situational. Anxiety takes a toll on your body and your mind. It’s very hard for people who have never experienced anxiety to understand what it feels like. It’s definitely not pleasant!
